Major teams within Business Enablement Service include Finance, Information Technology Services, People Team, Learning and Development, Brand, Marketing and Communications, Risk Management, and Business Support Group.Our Finance Group is dedicated to enabling SGV/EY client account teams and management to run the business effectively. You will help to improve engagement profitability, manage enterprise-wide risk support market development activities, and support SGV/EY planning, reporting, forecasting, and analysis, or help SGV/EY people manage day-to-day activities (such as managing engagements, process and auditing time and expense or invoice processing). You will also work with other parts of our organization, sharing your financial experience and insights to achieve specific goals. There are two main components to this role:providing on-demand financial advisory support to engagement teams through a variety of ways (phone or email).proactive outreach to engagement teams thathave been identified as needing intervention through analytical review and exception reporting.Expectations:Have a good understanding of engagement economics, and use strong analytical skills to determine the partners/engagement teams in need of outreachReview queries from client servers, prioritize follow-up activities, and schedule engagement team meetingsSpend time taking calls from client servers, which could include activities such as:reviewing pricing plansadvising on the optimum resourcing mix on engagements, including the use of GDS (offshore resources), andproviding instruction and guidance on estimate-to-complete (ETC) processes and corresponding financial impacts.Provide guidance on local policy and practicesFacilitate training for client-serving teams on Mercury and effective financial management practicesIndividuals in this role are expected to recognize when extra effort/time is needed to produce optimal outcomes and manage the situation, accordingly, working with peers and supervisors to balance workloads as necessarySkills and Attributes:Fluent and effective communication style in EnglishTwo years' experience in a professional services environment in a financial/business capacity. Management accounting experience is beneficial but not essentialA Bachelor of Business, Diploma in Accounting, or equivalent qualification is desirable (but not essential)Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet ExplorerA strong ability to learn quickly and share knowledge, combined with the ability to apply judgment and seek guidance when appropriateStrong listening, communication, and partnering skills with people of all levels of the firm

The OpportunityYou will be part of a team of professionals with diverse backgrounds in Business Consulting.
