MG1 conducts tree-planting activity

SGV’s Market Group (MG) 1 team conducted a tree-planting activity on 30 August 2024 at the La Mesa Watershed in Quezon City. MG1 group photo at the La Mesa Watershed In collaboration with the Million Trees Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization and advocacy group, the 34 Green Armies from MG1, led by Partner Don Don T. Mojica (DTM), planted a total of 68 native trees. Each tree bore a nameplate to honor their efforts in rehabilitating the watershed. The trees planted represent their contribution to the foundation's goal of planting 10 million trees by 2030. Sustainability discussions and tree-planting activity In addition to tree planting, the participants engaged in a discussion on sustainability and the importance of preserving a healthy natural environment for present and future generations. Certificates were distributed to the participants after the event to recognize their commitment to a greener tomorrow. The tree-planting activity is MG1’s first among a series of events and activities lined up for Fiscal Year 2025, which aim to promote camaraderie and strengthen the bond within the market group.
